I enjoy launching guest speaker series because there is nothing as powerful as introducing students to people who can inspire them to dream, new dreams — whether that be going to college, joining the military, serving their community as law enforcement or beginning a trade. Guest speakers can inspire students to “tap into” their education and work towards new goals.

I work to ensure guest speakers are diverse, with regard to culture and careers. The goal is to inspire students to achieve their college and career dreams and to help them understand that success is not linear and their beginnings do not determine their future — the future is up to them!
